Work experience
Vera spent most of her childhood in England. Initially she worked as a lawyer in London and then as a legal translator but serving as a volunteer at her son’s school persuaded her to requalify as a teacher. She trained in Oxford, then taught at local primary schools before working at an English prep school in Nairobi. After Africa, Vera was Head of English at Open Gate Primary School, Babice. From there she went back to do some more teaching in Oxford, returning to Bohemia in the summer of 2020.
Her goal is for every child to enjoy learning English.
