We cook meals in our own kitchen.
We buy food several times a week so that it is fresh. The menu is designed with the nutritional needs of young school children in mind, and covers all the main food groups including fish, legumes, meat (from the local butcher), fruit, vegetables and sufficient liquids.
Hygiene and good manners are always important, especially at mealtimes.
Cost of meals
The cost of school meals, including morning and afternoon snacks and drinks all day, is 80 CZK/day, payable in advance for the whole school year.
Cancellations
If a student is absent, lunch can be provided as a take-away from 12.00 to 13.00. If lunch is cancelled by 12.00 the previous day, the cost will be refunded. To cancel lunches, parents should email Renata Zemanová, head cook, on jidelna@zs-compass.cz.
